Douchebaggery aside, Zoffer is the GOAT.

      • You should be very proud to be a Pashtoon, for they are generally brave warriors and some good cricketers too.I feel it is important we as writers speak out because our travels and research give us a better understanding of Afghanistan than most politicians. It was a pleasure to work with you in 2005.

      • Hello – I must say, I’m impressed with your site. I had no trouble navigating through all the tabs and information was very easy to access. I found what I wanted in no time at all. Pretty awesome. Would appreciate it if you add forums or something, it would be a perfect way for your clients to interact. Great job

      • Ph.H,Dans ce grand machin spéculaire dont vous parlez, plus de spectacle mais une invitation permanente à l’ingestion et au narcissisme.Votre commentaire vaut son pesant d’or.

That’s a cunning answer to a challenging question

An awesome post, I just given this onto a workfellow who was doing a little research on that. And he in fact bought me lunch because I found it for him…. smile.. So let me rephrase that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thank you for spending the time to talk about this, I feel strongly about it and enjoy reading more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more details? It is highly helpful for me. Big thumb up for this blogpost!

It’s imperative that more people make this exact point.

Chilton, O’Connor, and everyone who could win without partners repeatedly bailing them out were all better. Go watch Maryland and Brown finals.

It’s nice to have Coulter, Shomik, and BSK to make sure you win even the rounds you’re bad in. But GOAT? Try Chilton winning 70 rounds in a row, many with partners who never broke without him.

I’m sorry, but this is ridiculous. As someone who watched many of the debaters you are mentioning, I have to disagree.

        1. Zoffer won TOTY, SOTY, NorthAms, Worlds, and Nats. His record speaks for himself. No one has ever accomplished anything near that in their debate careers. He is GOAT by accomplishment alone.
        2. I’m pretty sure Harvard A only lost ONE opp round that entire year. Teams with choice never chose to gov on them in out rounds because they knew they would lose. So Zoffer never got to LO in outrounds, which was by far his best position. If you watched Rutgers quarters against Brandeis on caucases, though, I don’t think you’d have written your post.
        3. Shomik and Zoffer ran open cases throughout their TOTY run. Open cases necessarily mean the debates will be close and PMR will have work to do in the end. That doesn’t mean MG was bad, but just not round-winning.
        4. While Shomik was one of the best out-round debaters I’ve seen, Zoffer was also a good PMR. If you had flipped them, they probably would have won the same amount of rounds.
        5. Chilton had Wansley for his APDA life and had Cormac for his Worlds run. Get out of here.

The Absent Game…Among me and my husband we have owned extra MP3 gamers through the years than I can count, like Sansas, iRivers, iPods (traditional & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players….
